DR. SHANNON GLENN
Owner / Psychologist
Dr Glenn achieved her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of New Brunswick in 2006. In 2007 she completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Nova Scotia Hospital where she learned from rotations in inpatient, community mental health and forensic settings. Dr Glenn worked at the Canadian Forces Base Gagetown Operational and Trauma Stress Support Centre(OTSSC)/Mental Health Clinic for five years, where she primarily focused on the assessment and treatment of post traumatic stress disorder among military personnel. She also valued the opportunity to provide clinical supervision and mentorship to colleagues and students.
Dr Glenn transitioned to private practice in 2013, where she continues to specialize in the area of PTSD, working with community members and first responders, including police officers, military personnel and veterans. Dr Glenn also enjoys working with individuals for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and adjusting to difficult life events. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to evidence-based therapy, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical and Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and related approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE). She also provides clinical supervision to students and residents and has had the opportunity to work with excellent students.
When not in the office, you can find Dr Glenn on a forest trail, searching for live music, or chasing her daughter and dogs around Fredericton.

JAY NERO
PhD Student in Clinical Psychology
Jay Nero is currently enrolled as a Doctoral Student at the University of New Brunswick’s Clinical Psychology program. As part of his training, he has completed coursework and training centered around both psychotherapy and the assessment of psychological disorders with both adults and children. He has accrued practicum experiences conducting therapy and assessment work with both adults and children at UNB’s Psychological Wellness Centre and completed an external practicum placement at CFB Gagetown working with active service members. Jay has experience working with different therapy orientations, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and has a special interest in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

HANNAH CROWELL
LCT-C
Hannah is an LCT-C and holds a Master's in Counselling Psychology (Hons) from Yorkville University and a BA (Hons) from St. Thomas University. She works in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy. Hannah believes in using kindness, humour, and creativity in the counselling process and strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to express themselves openly and authentically. She also conducts her counselling in a trauma-informed, socially just, and culturally informed way.
Her specializations include providing support to adults (19+) dealing with anxiety, fears and phobias, taking a particular interest in emetophobia. Additionally, Hannah also works with issues related to depression, improving self-esteem, coping with school and work stress, burnout prevention and adjusting to life changes. Through collaborative and personalized treatment plans, she empowers individuals to navigate life's challenges and to develop resilience and a greater sense of well-being.

In her free time, Hannah can typically be found indulging in movies with her tubby cat Rudy, exploring a new art project or visiting a local craft brewery with friends.
